What DropQR does
DropQR gives you a QR code that redirects to a destination URL you choose and can change at any time. We provide the redirect and the dashboard; we do not host the content you point to.
How long your codes stay live
- Your codes stay live for as long as your subscription (or free trial) is active. We don't expire active, paid codes.
- If your subscription lapses, your codes are paused (they show a "paused" page, not a dead link) and reactivate the moment you resubscribe.
- We retain paused codes for at least 12 months so you can come back. After a prolonged lapse, abandoned codes and their link names may be reclaimed.
- "Permanent" refers to the printed code staying the same while you re-point its destination — not a guarantee of service for a code that is no longer subscribed.
Your responsibility for destinations
You are solely responsible for the destinations your codes point to. You agree not to point a DropQR code at anything unlawful, deceptive, infringing, malicious (malware/phishing), or that violates the rights of others. You are responsible for ensuring your destinations comply with all applicable laws. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or safety of any third-party destination.
Acceptable use
- No illegal, fraudulent, or harmful destinations.
- No impersonation or infringement of others' rights.
- No attempts to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
We may suspend or remove any code or account that breaches these terms, at our discretion, to protect users and our service.
Subscriptions, trials, and billing
- Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial and require a valid card.
- After the trial, your card is charged for the plan you selected unless you cancel first.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime via the billing portal.
- If a subscription lapses, your codes are paused (they show a "paused" page) and reactivate when you resubscribe.
Link names
Once a code has been scanned its link name (the path printed on flyers, e.g. drop-qr.com.au/yourname) is locked, because it is likely printed on physical materials. Changing it breaks existing printed codes and is done at your own risk.
Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DropQR is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or from any third-party destination.
